As the name of the programme, student will be mostly taking classes during the study.
Full Time: 1.5-2.5 years
1 Module: 4 weeks
11-12 modules
Class: 2 days/week
NO Final Exam
The Master by Taught Course is designed to extend the knowledge and skills gained from the Bachelor Degree and to develop new professional skills of graduates in Mechanical Engineering.
Programme Educational Objectives (PEO) are specific goals consistent with the mission and vision of the University, that are responsive to the expressed interest of programme stakeholders, describing the expected achievements of graduates in their career and professional life, few years after graduation.
Graduates from this programme are expected to be able to:
PEO1Â Â Leaders in the mechanical engineering field.
PEO2Â Practice the knowledge acquired in innovative scholarly activities.
PEO3Â Engagement with the community for sustainable developments.
Programme Outcomes (PO) are what students are expected to be able to perform or attain by the time of graduation. These relate to the skills, knowledge, and behaviour that students acquire through the programme.
Graduates from this programme are expected to be able to:
PLO1Â Â Demonstrate continuing and advanced knowledge and have the capabilities to further develop or use these in new situations or multi-disciplinary contexts in Mechanical Engineering.
PLO2Â Â Analyse and evaluate problems in Mechanical Engineering contexts and disciplines critically, particularly in situations with limited information and to provide solutions through the application of appropriate tools and techniques.
PLO3Â Â Appraise available information and research evidence and apply it in the Mechanical Engineering context.
PLO4Â Â Plan and perform research in Mechanical Engineering professionally, ethically and responsibly.
PLO5Â Â Report technical findings in both written and oral forms.
PLO6Â Â Recognise the needs for continuing professional development
